If you are living in the US, you need the Game Genie: Save Editor for PS3 (US) which is available from http://www.thegamegenie.com.
If you are living in the EU, you need the Game Genie: Save Editor for PS3 (EU) which is available from http://www.gamegenie.eu.
If you are not sure or are living in another region, the easiest way is to look at the spine of your PS3 game box for the Game ID (4 letters, 5 digits, eg BLUS10281) or copy saves from your PS3 to a USB drive and look at the folder names on a computer (look in ps3savedata).
If the Game ID on the box or the save folder starts with BLUS, BCUS, NPUA or NPUB, you need the US version.
If the Game ID on the box or the save folder starts with BLES, BCES, NPEA or NPEB, you need the EU version.
Important information
US users: There are two different versions. One is a retail version which comes with the Game Genie USB drive which is used to activate the product. It does NOT come with a License Key. The other is a download which is NOT supplied with a Game Genie USB drive (generally, any USB drive can be used). Activation for this is a License Key which is sent via email. Apart from the way the product is activated, both versions contain the same features and cheats.
EU users: http://www.gamegenie.eu is the only place currently where the European version can be purchased and as a download only. There is no retail version and any sale of a Game Genie: Save Editor for PS3 with a Game Genie USB drive is the US retail version which will NOT work with EU games.
All users: The Game Genie USB drive and License Key determines the region. License KeysCANNOT be transferred between regions!
